Abstract: From the perspective of clients, this paper uses normative analysis and empirical research to study the factors influencing clients' initial trust in international service outsourcing. The study results show that the service providers' benevolence, task commitment and security mechanism are positively correlated with clients' initial trust, with security mechanisms being the most important influencing factor. The providers' competence, security mechanisms and initial trust are positively correlated with the clients' motivations for adopting service outsourcing, with initial trust being the most important factor shaping clients' adoption motivations. The results shed important insights on how our international service providers should establish a trustful outsourcing partnership with multinational enterprises, and further improve their competitive advantages in the international service outsourcing market.
