The transmitting of FDI spillover effect via innovation—a study based on Chinese ICT industry

Abstract

Abstract: The paper analyzed the relationship between FDI, domestic technological and institutional innovation, and it is found out that FDI has promoted the domestic technological and institutional innovation directly and indirectly, and thereby improved the domestic productivity. However, the direct impact of FDI on the domestic productivity is insignificant, and its spillover effect is realized indirectly by FDI's promoting the domestic technological and institutional innovation and their synergy.
