Abstract: The theory of supply logistics synchronization is proposed based on enterprise investigation, literature review, and expert interview. The supply logistics synchronization emphasizes not only on the synchronization between the multiple suppliers and the downstream manufacturers, but also on the collaboration among the suppliers to meet the needs of the downstream manufacturers. The scale which includes three dimensions, that is, synchronization between suppliers and manufacturers, synchronization among suppliers, and logistics service capability is developed to measure supply logistics synchronization. A relationship model among supply logistics synchronization, supply chain agility, and firm performance is also proposed. In addition, a statistic analysis on the data collected by questionnaires presented on "e-works" site is conducted to test and validate the scale; the direct and indirect effects of supply logistics synchronization on supply chain agility and firm performance are analyzed.
