Abstract: The level of the service industrial agglomeration is tested by means of physical capital agglomeration, human capital agglomeration, and employment density. Spatial econometric methods are adopted to analyze how service industrial agglomeration affects the regional economic discrepancy based on the perspective of labor productivity. The results show that the regional labor productivity has the characteristic of spatial agglomeration; physical capital agglomeration plays a significant role in the improvement of regional labor productivity, while the human capital agglomeration and employment density do not. The results provide a method for analyzing the regional economic disparity from the perspective of labor productivity.

Key words: service industrial agglomeration, labor productivity, regional economy discrepancy, spatial econometric model
