绿色创业导向对企业负责任创新的影响研究
Research on the impact of green entrepreneurial orientation on the responsible innovation of enterprises
作为一种平衡利润增长需求和社会价值诉求的新兴创新范式,负责任创新已被越来越多的企业视为其积极承担社会责任并实现可持续发展目标的有效路径。鉴于当前以科技创新助力农业可持续发展的广泛呼吁,探讨农业领域负责任创新议题极为必要。本研究基于资源编排理论,构建了绿色创业导向影响企业负责任创新的研究模型。采用层次回归和MEDCURVE宏程序对来自248家农业企业的两时点调研数据进行分析,实证结果表明:(1)绿色创业导向对绿色供应链整合有正向影响;(2)绿色供应链整合对企业负责任创新有倒U型影响;(3)绿色供应链整合在绿色创业导向与企业负责任创新间发挥中介作用;(4)大数据分析能力正向调节绿色创业导向对绿色供应链整合的线性关系,以及绿色供应链整合与企业负责任创新间的倒U型关系。本研究不仅丰富了企业负责任创新的形成机制研究,也为企业管理者和政策制定者推动企业负责任创新提供实践启示。
As an emerging innovation paradigm that balances the demand for profit growth and social value, responsible innovation has been increasingly recognized by enterprises as an effective approach for them to proactively assume social responsibilities and achieve sustainable development goals. In view of the widespread appeal to promote the sustainable development of agriculture with scientific and technological innovation, it is extremely necessary to discuss the topic of responsible innovation in agriculture. Based on the resource orchestration theory, this study constructed a theoretical model that explores how green entrepreneurial orientation influences enterprise responsible innovation. The research data from 248 agricultural enterprises were analyzed using the hierarchical regression and MEDCURVE macro-program. The empirical results indicated that: (1) green entrepreneurial orientation positively influences green supply chain integration; (2) green supply chain integration, in turn, has an inverted U-shaped influence on enterprise responsible innovation; (3) green supply chain integration acts as a mediator between green entrepreneurial orientation and enterprise responsible innovation; and (4) big data analytics capability positively moderates the linear relationship between green entrepreneurial orientation and green supply chain integration, as well as the inverted U-shaped relationship between green supply chain integration and enterprise responsible innovation. This study has not only enriched the research on the formation mechanism of enterprise responsible innovation, but also provided practical enlightenment for managers and policy makers to promote enterprise responsible innovation.

Building on literature in political CSR and corporate political activity (CPA) as well as responsible innovation and responsible lobbying, we introduce a framework to assess the legitimacy status of corporate political activity. We focus on the fact that companies frequently face sharp regulatory backlash after penetrating markets with their innovations. In response to regulatory backlash, big tech companies often employ an arsenal of corporate political activities to (re-)shape national and local regulatory environments, which raises the important questions about the legitimacy of CPA tactics that we address. To develop and apply this framework, we briefly survey and then assess Uber’s corporate political activities in its 2015 New York City political campaign.

In this article, the authors discuss how an emerging research stream, which they term resource orchestration, has the potential to extend the understanding of resource-based theory (RBT) by explicitly addressing the role of managers’ actions to effectively structure, bundle, and leverage firm resources. First, the authors review this emerging stream by comparing two related frameworks, resource management and asset orchestration. This comparison leads to their integration, which enables a more precise understanding of managers’ roles within RBT. Then the authors discuss what is known and what remains to be known about resource orchestration. This leads to in-depth reviews of three areas where research on resource orchestration can be used to extend RBT. These areas are (1) breadth (resource orchestration across the scope of the firm), (2) life cycle (resource orchestration at various stages of firm maturity), and (3) depth (resource orchestration across levels of the firm). They close with a discussion of future research that will extend resource orchestration and contribute to a more robust RBT.

This paper presents an examination of the role played by alliance learning in enabling emerging market small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop responsible innovation. SMEs based in emerging markets face significant challenges due to their weak resource base and the limited support they receive from formal institutions. In such a context, we argued that alliance learning takes a more prominent role in enabling these firms to develop responsible innovation via their absorptive capacity and sense-making competency. Drawn from 176 survey responses from SMEs originating from Pakistan, our findings shed light on the vital role played by alliance learning in enhancing SMEs’ responsible innovation. Specifically, the findings indicate that absorptive capacity acts as an important mechanism between alliance learning and responsible innovation. In addition, sense-making competency emerges as an important boundary condition and as a vital dynamic capability under which the effects of alliance learning on responsible innovation are stronger through the mediating mechanisms of absorptive capacity. These moderating-mediating findings contribute to the literature on dynamic capabilities and responsible innovation and provide important insights into the mechanisms and boundary conditions of responsible innovation in the context of emerging Asian markets.

Most treatments of indirect effects and mediation in the statistical methods literature and the corresponding methods used by behavioral scientists have assumed linear relationships between variables in the causal system. Here we describe and extend a method first introduced by Stolzenberg (1980) for estimating indirect effects in models of mediators and outcomes that are nonlinear functions but linear in their parameters. We introduce the concept of the instantaneous indirect effect of X on Y through M and illustrate its computation and describe a bootstrapping procedure for inference. Mplus code as well as SPSS and SAS macros are provided to facilitate the adoption of this approach and ease the computational burden on the researcher.

This paper aims to investigate supply chain performance (SCP) as an essential outcome of the use of IT and explores the effect of supply chain collaboration (SCC) on SCP.
