摘要/Abstract

摘要： 银行效率的研究是当前国内外金融行业和监管当局研究的重点课题之一。为此,提出了采用修正产出法确定参数法中的投入和产出项,然后再通过参数法来估算银行X-效率值的方法,并应用该方法对中国十七家商业银行1996年至2006年间的效率状况进行了实证分析,实证结果表明:提高赢利能力将是中国商业银行提升效率的重要途径。

Abstract: Currently, banking efficiency research is one of the key subjects of financial industry and supervision departments. A method for estimating banking X-efficiency by using the parametric method was proposed the input and output items were determined by adopting the modified output method. Then the efficiency condition of China's 17 commercial banks from 1996 to 2006 was empirically analyzed. The result of empirical analysis demonstrates that improving the profitability of Chinese commercial banks will be an important way to enhance efficiency.
