大数据能力促进后发企业创新追赶机制研究

Research on the innovation catch-up mechanism of latecomer enterprises promoted by big data capability

摘要:    大数据为后发企业创造了创新追赶可能和更具优势的追赶起点,但少有文献探讨如何利用大数据能力推动后发企业创新追赶。本文基于企业能力理论,选取216家长三角地区企业为研究样本,构建大数据能力、能力重构与后发企业创新追赶的理论模型,使用层次回归分析法深入探究大数据能力对后发企业创新追赶的作用机制。研究发现:(1)大数据能力有助于后发企业创新追赶;(2)能力重构在大数据获取能力对后发企业创新追赶的影响中有完全中介作用,而在大数据分析整合能力及应用能力对后发企业创新追赶的影响中起部分中介作用;(3)大数据能力推动后发企业创新追赶对于其能力重构存在路径依赖。最后,从强化大数据能力、加强企业能力的动态建设和基于不同的创新追赶进行能力重构等方面给出相应的管理启示。研究结论打开了大数据能力与后发企业创新追赶之间的“黑箱”,丰富了创新追赶理论和动态能力理论,为大数据背景下后发企业能力动态建设与创新追赶提供指导和参考依据。

Abstract:    Big data has created the possibility of innovation catch-up and a more advantageous starting point for latecomer enterprises, but there is little literature exploring how latecomer companies can use big data to promote innovation catch-up. Based on the theory of enterprise capability, this paper selected 216 enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region as research samples, constructed a theoretical model of big data capability, capability reconfiguration and latecomer enterprises′ innovation catch-up, and used the hierarchical regression analysis method to deeply explore the impact mechanism of big data capability on the innovation catch-up in latecomer enterprises. The research findings are as follows: (1) Big data capability helps latecomer enterprises to catch up with innovation. (2) Capability reconstruction has a full mediating effect in the impact of big data acquisition capability on the innovation catch-up of latecomer enterprises, while it plays a partial mediating role in the impact of the ability to integrate and apply big data and application capability on the innovation catch-up of latecomer enterprises. (3) The promotion of big data capability on latecomer enterprises′ innovation catch-up has a path dependence on their capability reconfiguration. Finally, corresponding management implications were given from aspects such as strengthening big data capability, enhancing the dynamic construction of enterprise capability and carrying out capability reconfiguration based on different innovation catch-ups. The research conclusions have opened the "black box" between big data capability and latecomer enterprises′ innovation catch-up, enriched the innovation catch-up theory and the dynamic capability theory, and they will provide guidance and reference basis for the dynamic construction of latecomer enterprises′ capability and innovation catch-up in the context of big data.
