中国制造业企业高质量发展的联动路径研究

Research on the linkage path of high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing enterprises

摘要:      制造业是实体经济的基础,也是中国应对各类风险挑战的“压舱石”,因而探寻中国式现代化情境下中国制造业企业高质量发展的实现既是重要的现实问题,也是有待探索的关键科学问题。本文融合资源基础观与行业基础观,遵循TOE框架,以250家A股制造业企业为例,采用模糊集定性比较分析(fsQCA)、必要条件分析(NCA)和人工神经网络(ANN)方法,探讨了技术水平、组织特质、行业特征的交互作用下,中国制造业企业高质量发展的多种联动路径组合。研究发现:第一,中国制造业企业高质量发展存在4条联动路径,其中组织与技术双元创新驱动型分布最普遍。同时,有2条路径会导致企业非高质量发展。第二,高管风险偏好是企业高质量发展的唯一必要条件且最有影响力的条件,并与企业的国际市场开拓能力构成核心条件。第三,外部产业结构因素与企业关键资源能力的多元逻辑互动是企业实现高质量发展并进而在新时期获取竞争优势的重要路径,且企业关键资源能力的影响更为显著。研究结论有助于深化对中国制造业企业高质量发展路径复杂性机理的认知,并为政策制定带来有益启示。

Abstract:      The manufacturing industry, often regarded as the cornerstone of the real economy, holds paramount importance for China in addressing various challenges in the contemporary era. Throughout China′s modernization process, as the facilitator of industrial transformation and upgrading, it becomes imperative to investigate the interconnected path of high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing enterprises. By incorporating the perspectives of the resource-based view and industry-based view, this study follows the technology-organization-environment framework and identifies six crucial conditions influencing high-quality development. Subsequently, employing fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis, necessary condition analysis, and artificial neural network methods, this study investigates the configurations of high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises. The sample consists of 250 A-share listed manufacturing enterprises.This study reveals several noteworthy findings. Firstly, there are 4 configurations of high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing enterprises, with the predominant model featuring a synergistic configuration to organizational and technological innovation. Meanwhile, 2 configurations are discerned that lead to non-high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises. Secondly, it is crucial to underline that the risk-taking spirit of top decision-makers stands as is the only necessary and most influential condition for achieving high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing enterprises. This condition consistently manifests in all four configurations of high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises, serving as the core condition alongside the enterprises′ capacity to explore international markets. Thirdly, the interplay of external industrial structure dynamics with the core resource capabilities of enterprises emerges as a pivotal pathway through which enterprises can secure high-quality development and gain a competitive edge in the contemporary; the impact exerted by a firm′s resource capabilities is especially pronounced. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the intricate mechanism governing the paths of high-quality development of Chinese manufacturing enterprises, while also providing valuable insights for policy formulation purposes.
