本文从理论和实证两个方面验证了研发投入及其溢出效应对省域经济增长的贡献。首先,通过一个对数生产函数模型,从理论上证明研发投入正外部性的存在。接着,利用中国1991-2009年29个省份的数据,运用空间计量分析方法对这一正的外部性进行测量。研究结果表明:①研发投入对区域经济增长有显著促进作用,省域间研发投入存在较为显著的溢出效应;②1991-2009年间科技投入对经济增长的拉动中有16.7%是由于科技投入的外部溢出效应所贡献的;③东部地区研发投入溢出效应最高,西部最低,东-西部之间的溢出效应低于东-中部地区。
Abstract
The effect of R&D input and its spatial spillover on provincial economic growth of China are tested from both theoretic and empirical perspectives. Based on a logarithmic production function model, firstly, the existence of the positive externality in R&D input is proved. Then,by using data of 29 provinces in China during the period of 1991-2009,the spillover effects of R&D input are measured in accordance with the spatial econometric model. The results show that (1)R&D input significantly promotes regional economic growth,and there is a striking spillover effect among provinces in China; (2) the 16.7% contribution of R&D input to economic growth is due to its spatial spillover effect; (3)the highest spillover effect is able to be found in eastern region, while the lowest in western region, and the spillover effect between east and west regions is lower than that between east and central regions.
