Recently the perspective of institutional theory has been increasingly introduced into the research area of the international entrepreneurship. By conducting questionnaire investigations about 103 international new ventures all over the world and applying the hierarchical regression analysis model, this paper conducts an empirical study of the relationships among three dimensions of the institutional context, their interactions and international entrepreneurship performance. The results show that the cognitive dimension and its interactions with the regulative and normative dimensions have a prominent predictive effect on the international entrepreneurship performance, but the regulative and normative dimensions have not a notable direct influence on the international entrepreneurship performance.
