Dynamic R&D competition and cooperation: A differential game approach

摘要: 本文考虑了一个双寡头的微分博弈模型,其中两家企业在技术溢出和技术更新的环境下从事研发活动,每家企业在研发阶段进行研发竞争或合作,但在产出阶段进行竞争。通过比较研发竞争和研发合作下的企业瞬时收益,本文分析了技术溢出和技术更新是如何影响企业研发战略的。进一步,本文还讨论了企业研发战略的演化路径。

Abstract: A duopolistic differential game model which two firms conduct R&D activity with technology spillover and technology update is considered. Each firm in the model competes or cooperates with each other in a R&D stage but compete in an output stage. How technology spillover and technology update affect firm's R&D strategy is studied by comparing transient profit between R&D competition with R&D cooperation, and how R&D strategy of firms changeing over time is discussed.
