摘要：创新的作用日显突出，提升技术创新能力是实现可持续发展的重要途径。城市相对于乡村的多种优势特征，有利于技术创新的产生；城市化创造的良好环境，能够加速创新扩散。相关分析及因果检验显示：城市化与技术创新高度正相关，城市化构成技术创新水平提高的格兰杰原因；城市规模越大，创新能力越强。创新投入产出模型的时序及面板数据分析发现，城市化对技术创新具有正向促进效应，城市规模、开放程度及地区差异也对创新产出产生显著影响。结论对于合理推进城市化、培育技术创新优势具有启示意义。

Abstract: Innovation plays a more and more prominent role in the society. It is an important way for the sustainable development according to enhancing innovation capability. Comparing with the village, characters of cities are propitious to the innovation. Urbanization creates favorable conditions for innovation diffusion. The correlation analysis shows that urbanization is highly positive correlated with technology innovation. Causality tests reveal the Granger causality between urbanization and technology innovation. Innovation capability is accordant with the city size. Empirical analysis indicates that urbanization facilitates technology innovation. City size, openness and regional differences also affect the output of innovation. In the end, recommendations for promoting urbanization and fostering innovation advantage are discussed.
