中国区域研发效率差异及其影响因素——基于省级区域面板数据的经验研究/FONT

摘要: 本文以1998-2005年省级区域的面板数据为基础,使用随机前沿函数模型研究了我国区域研发效率差异及其影响因素。结果表明,我国研发活动的平均研发效率在06左右。东部沿海地区的研发效率较高,而西部地区的研发效率较低,但东、中、西部三大区域研发效率的差距在逐年缩小。外商直接投资、对外贸易和人力资本都和研发效率呈显著的正向关系。同时,人力资本的提升和市场竞争的加强,可以进一步促进外商直接投资和对外贸易对我国研发效率的溢出作用。

Abstract: A cross-province R&D production model for evaluating the relative efficiency of R&D activities is constructed. Stochastic frontier function models are applied to the panel data of 29 provinces in 1998-2005. The means of efficiency scores for research and develop activities are about 06. The east region gets the highest score of efficiency, and the west region has relative low efficiency. It is also found that foreign direct investment, international trade, and human capital have significantly positive effects on the R&D efficiency; promotion of human capital and competitiveness can improve the positive effects of foreign direct investment and international trade.
