With the rapid development of science, the collaborative relationship in science research has become a huge power that affects science productivity and attracts the close attention from many scientists, S&T policy constitutors, and governors. More and more studies on the scientific collaboration have been done thoroughly. The research progress of the international science collaboration is summarized so that some patterns of scientific collaboration promoting the performance of science research can be discovered.
