Abstract: After entering into WTO, one of the long term tasks for Chinese agricultural development is the implementation of the "walking out" strategy and the international agriculture technology transfer. Whether the technology transfer can realize the dual objects, that is, to maximize the economic interests and promote the international agriculture technology progress, at large extention depends on the choice of the transfer mode. On the basis of former research results, the option theory of agriculture technology international transfer is advanced, the conditions of both supply and demand, such as policy environment, technology, market and cost, etc. are analyzed, The conclusion is drawn that the FDI is the major mode when Chinese agriculture technology export to developed countries; however export and licensing trade is the key way when Chinese agriculture technology export to developing countries.
