关键用户驱动的复杂产品系统创新:以中国盾构机的超越追赶为例

摘要:     复杂产品系统具有独特的技术与市场体制特征,后发者面临冷启动悖论、技术积累难题和路径依赖困境等追赶挑战。基于中国盾构机从追赶到超越的纵向案例研究,本文探究了复杂产品系统技术追赶过程中的用户参与特征与创新运行规律,在深化国家创新体系理论的主体互动研究中拓展了复杂产品系统技术追赶的路径参考与管理启示。研究发现,具有特定产品需求和重要产业影响力的关键用户全面参与创新过程并深度影响主体决策,从主体协作、创新效能和学习效应三个层面驱动复杂产品系统产业的技术追赶,在面向追赶挑战中具有应用示范与成熟技术学习、产业组织协同、前沿价值主张等优势,在超越追赶型国家创新体系下的产业协作中发挥着知识整合、场景编排和系统协调等关键作用,驱动了复杂产品系统产业的技术创新与快速追赶。

Abstract:    Complex product systems have unique characteristics of technology and market regime, and latecomers are faced with catch-up challenges such as cold start paradox, technology accumulation difficulty and path dependence dilemma. Based on the longitudinal case study of China′s shield machine industry from catch-up to beyond, this paper explored the user participation features and innovation operation patterns in the process of technology catch-up of complex product systems, and expanded the path reference and management insights for the technology catch-up of complex product systems in deepening the research on subject interaction of national innovation system theory. This research found that key users with specific product requirements and significant industry influence fully participate in the innovation process and deeply influence decision-making. From the aspects of subjective collaboration, innovation effectiveness and learning effects, users drive the technological catch-up of complex product system industry. They have advantages such as application demonstration and learning of mature technologies, industrial-level collaboration, and frontier value propositions in addressing catch-up challenges. Furthermore, key users play a critical role in knowledge integration, scenario orchestration, and system coordination within the collaborative industrial modes of national innovation systems focused on the beyond catch-up, driving technological innovation and rapid catch-up in the complex product system industries.
