制度逻辑视角下工业互联网平台构建过程研究

Research on the construction process of industrial Internet platform from the perspective of institutional logic

摘要:     产业实践中涌现出互联网平台企业和龙头企业两类为主体的工业互联网平台构建路径,两种路径差异化明显。本文采用双案例研究方法,以阿里巴巴构建淘工厂、卧龙集团构建舜云互联为例,分析两类主体构建平台的具体过程,识别其构建过程的差异,研究发现:(1)互联网平台企业和龙头企业构建工业互联网平台的过程存在差异,前者关注行业中的小企业,通过平台赋能构建工业互联网平台,后者从大企业出发,通过价值共创构建工业互联网平台。(2)具体地,互联网平台企业遵循“平台思维基点—数字能力培育—赋能主导型平台实现”的构建过程,龙头企业遵循“网络思维基点—平台能力培育—共创主导型平台实现”的构建过程。(3)过程差异在于企业分别遵循平台逻辑和网络逻辑,平台逻辑强调以平台为中心,通过平台能力连接数字能力,最终构建工业互联网平台,网络逻辑强调以龙头企业为中心,通过社会网络发展平台能力,最终构建工业互联网平台。本文从组织层面弥补了工业互联网平台构建研究的不足,识别出平台逻辑和网络逻辑,拓展制度逻辑的情境应用,研究结论也为产业实践中工业互联网平台构建难题提供启示。

Abstract:    Two types of industrial Internet platform construction paths, with Internet platform enterprises and leading enterprises as the main body, have emerged in industrial practice, and the differentiation between the two paths is apparent. This paper adopted the double case study method, taking Alibaba′s construction of Taogongchang and Wolong Group′s building Imotorlinx as examples, analyzing the specific process of building platforms for the two types of main bodies and identifying the differences in their construction process. The research findings are threefold: firstly, there are differences in the processes of constructing industrial Internet platforms between Internet platform enterprises and leading enterprises, with Internet platform enterprises focus on small enterprises and constructing industrial Internet platforms through platform empowerment. In contrast, leading enterprises start from large enterprises and construct industrial Internet platforms through value co-creation; secondly, the process of building industrial Internet platforms by Internet platform enterprises follows specifically the pattern of "platform thinking base - digital capability cultivation - empowerment-led platform realization", and the process of building industrial Internet platforms by leading enterprises follows the pattern of "network thinking base - platform capability cultivation - co-creation-led platform realization"; and thirdly, the essential difference between two paths lies in the platform and network logic in the institutional logic followed by enterprises. The platform logic emphasizes the platform as the center, connecting the digital capability through the platform capability and finally constructing the industrial Internet platform. The network logic emphasizes the leading enterprise as the center, develops the platform capability through the social network, and eventually builds the industrial Internet platform. This research has bridged the gap in research on the construction of industrial Internet platforms by discussing the organizational level, identifying the platform logic and network logic, and expanding the application of institutional logic, and the conclusions will thus provide insights into the numerous industrial Internet platform construction challenges in industrial practice.
