    2017, 38(8): 1-10.
    Abstract ( 709 )
This paper uses the micro-survey data of the strategic emerging industry enterprises in seven provinces and cities from 2012 to 2013 and establishes the logistic regression model, in order to analyze the heterogeneity of cooperative modes and influential factors of industry-university-institute cooperation. The research results show that industry-university-institute cooperation is influenced by the enterprise's technological innovation factors, structure factors and environmental factors. Among them, technology innovation factors are most important. Considering industry-university cooperation and industry-institute cooperation respectively, we further found the differences of two cooperation models and influential factors: industry-university cooperation is positively influenced by the R&D intensity and ownership structure, while industry-institute cooperation is positively affected by the innovation performance and government tax incentives. Furthermore, the influential factors of different cooperation forms are also not identical. The form of cooperative R&D, technology transfer and advisory services are significantly influenced by technological innovation factors. Finally, we deeply analyze the main conclusion and present policy implications.

    2017, 38(8): 11-18.
    Abstract ( 634 )
Technological convergence across industries has become an important factor in the formation and performance improvement of emerging industries. This paper use EPO-PATSTAT database to search out 13101 patents of biochip industry, and based on Datastream, Osiris, Amadeus enterprise database to collect the financial data of 335 biochip firms. Using N index, Simpson diversity index and Shannon Wiener index method, based on patent data, estimates the width and depth of biochip industry technological convergence. Apply panel data of GLS regression method, based on patent data and financial data of 20 biochip sample enterprises from 2001 to 2013, empirically analysis that technological convergence induces coopetition which ultimately improve performance of strategic emerging industry. Results show that technological convergence can improve industry performance, which should consider both the width and depth of technological convergence; the effect mechanism of industry convergence innovation on industrial performance is presented with an opening downward "inverted U" curve. This research has important policy implications: deregulation of industry, strengthen R&D of cross industry generic technology, promote inter industry technological convergence; strengthen the new coopetition relationship between industries, which is more conducive to the expansion of the scale and performance improvement of strategic emerging industries.

    2017, 38(8): 27-35.
    Abstract ( 685 )
Utilizing China's inter-provincial panel date based on venture capital investment cases and patents, this paper studies the promoting effect of venture capital on regional technological innovation output as well as the technological innovation screening effect of venture capital in the process of “R&D Input - Innovation Output” transformation. The study finds that (1) venture capital boosts China’s regional technological innovation output, and its promoting effect which shows a lagged and inverted U tendency reaches the highest level of significance and innovation effect in one and two-period lag; (2) venture capital has an optimal innovation promoting effect on northwest and northeast regions which are economically and technically under-developed, but does not significantly enhance the innovation output of eastern and middle regions which are economically and technically developed; (3) venture capital plays a screening role in terms of innovation output quality, which effectively restrains the low-quality innovation output represented by design patents and utility model patents but positively enhances the high-quality innovation output represented by invention patents.

A case study of start-up enterprises based on the perspective of “Heaven, Earth and Humanity”
    Tang Xiaofei1, Su Haoxuan2, Wang Yang2, Lu Pingjun3
    2017, 38(8): 36-43.
    Abstract ( 635 )
The existing entrepreneurship process models are based on the western background. They cannot realize the coordination of multi-paradoxes, multi-dimensions, and multi-levels. In the face of Chinese complex business environment and the unique cultural connotation, rethinking the entrepreneurial process from the perspective of philosophy and conducting localization research are imperious demand. This paper uses multi-case study method, starts from the "heaven, earth and humanity" thinking framework, and utilizes the theory of "Yin -- Yang balance" to summarize the existing opposite logics of entrepreneurial theory and track out the entrepreneurial process models in the innovative ecological environment. Conclusion: The dynamic imbalance of innovative supply and demand is the source of entrepreneurial opportunities. Flexible knowledge resources and ethical leadership have great significance on the discovery of entrepreneurial opportunities. With the precipitation of rigid knowledge resources, start-ups need to increase innovation input and continue to deepen ethical leadership. The entrepreneurial process is a dynamic process of the interaction between causal and effect logic.

A study of the effect of firm internal trust and managerial innovative motivation on innovation capability
    Zhang Feng1, Yang Jianjun2
    2017, 38(8): 44-50.
    Abstract ( 643 )
Corporate governance research usually focuses on the roles of formal control and monitoring mechanisms, while little attention has been paid on the roles of informal trust mechanism within agency relationships. Compared to formal governance mechanisms, trust mechanism is viewed to be more flexible. As argued by stewardship theory, it facilitates agency relationships with long-term orientation and can induce managers’ motivation to innovation. However, scant research has examined the role of trust between large shareholders and managers in shaping managers’ innovation intentions and abilities. Therefore, this paper focuses on two dimensions of such trust, namely affect-based trust and cognition-based trust, and researches the influencing mechanisms among trust, innovative motivations, and innovative abilities. Based on 174 Chinese firm samples, we find that both types of trust have positive but different influences on managers’ innovation capability, since the effect of affect-based trust partially mediated by managers’ innovative motivation. Then, this study discusses the findings of this paper and shares some insights into future research.

    Li Xinran, Wang Qiqi
    2017, 38(8): 51-63.
    Abstract ( 668 )
In recent years, the sales of remanufacturing products became the biggest problem with the policy that government encourages recycling used products in order to promote waste resource recycling. In this paper, considering market demand is affected by the sales effort and product price, we built a closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) model with sales effort under the government subsidy. Meanwhile, we discussed the differences of CLSC with retailers’ efforts to sell remanufacturing products about optimal decisions, system members’ profits under government subsidies. The research shows that: Sales effort of retailer will increase product sales proportion and increase aggregate demand in the market. By setting up reasonable subsidies according to the sales effort of retailer, the remanufacturing products sales price decrease and other negative impacts can be solved, the closed-loop supply chain with sales effort under the government subsidy can improve the system and its members in economic benefits.

A research on the enterprise strategy to support its employee’s creative idea development from the view of intellectual property allocation
    Shi Qingchun, Tuo Xiaonan
    2017, 38(8): 110-116.
    Abstract ( 576 )
In order to analyze the corporate strategy of supporting employees to develop creative idea, our research is based on principal-agent theory and incentive theory, separating intellectual property income of creative idea from corporate residual income, studying the effects that different allocations of intellectual property of creative idea have on corporate incentive contracts by building models. We find (1) the incentive that corporate provides to employees (innovators) depends on not only internal residual of creative products, but also external residual results from intellectual property of creative idea; (2) the value of creative idea and the value erosion of creative idea which caused by franchise would influence corporate strategy of allocating intellectual property of creative idea and incentive contract. Specifically, when it comes to a creative idea that is of high economic value, if value erosion caused by franchise is small in the incentive contract, corporate rather allocate the intellectual property of creative idea for employees (innovators) to save incentive cost; if value erosion caused by franchise is relatively great, corporate prefers owning the intellectual property of creative idea to prevent franchise; if value erosion caused by franchise is extremely great, it would become more effective for corporate that transferring intellectual property to employees(innovators) and adding some punitive restricted items into the incentive contract. Our research enriches the creative idea management theory and provides strategic advices for corporate to design incentive contracts with innovators.

A study of intergenerational knowledge transfer intention from the perspective of the generativity theory
    Wang Changyu,Zuo Meiyun
    2017, 38(8): 134-142.
    Abstract ( 600 )
Intergenerational knowledge transfer (IGKT) is an effective method to prevent corporate amnesia, and to achieve knowledge continuity. Senior employees’ intergenerational knowledge transfer intention (IGKTI) is the premise of the initiation of IGKT. Based on the generativity theory, this paper proposed that the basic psychological needs of human (such as need to be needed, symbolic immortality and meaning in life) are the important driving factors of the senior employees’ IGKT. PLS analysis of survey data showed that, need to be need affects IGKTI of senior employees directly; symbolic immortality hasn’t a direct effect on IGKTI of senior employees, but has an indirect effect on IGKTI of senior employees through the mediation of need to be needed; meaning in life affects IGKTI of senior employees directly and indirectly through the mediation of need to be needed. This study contributes to IGKT theory and practice.

A research on the decision of recycling and remanufacturing of products with limited life-cycle
Zheng Jiangbo, Yang Liu, Cheng Fuyang
    2017, 38(8): 143-152.
    Abstract ( 623 )
The economics of remanufacturing depends on the quantity of products returns and on the demand for products. Under the assumptions that price of product collection affects collection rate, the maximized cost-savings and the corresponding optimal price and rate were analyzed by constructing the product sales curves and recovery curves with limited life cycle. Research results show that: 1) given the limited market demand and positive correlation between collection price and collection quantity, enterprises who simply pursuit to reduce manufacturing costs may undertake greater cost; 2) the longer time the products flow in the closed-loop supply chain, the lower profits remanufacturing activities will be obtained; 3) products which have a good customer basis and can gain consumers recognition quickly has more advantages in remanufacturing activities. These conclusions provide a theoretical and method support for the enterprise remanufacturing activities in real business.
