吸收能力、知识产权风险与产品创新绩效

Absorptive Capacity, Intellectual Property Risk and Product Innovation Performance

摘要: 本文引入知识产权风险作为调节变量,对吸收能力四个维度(获取能力、消化能力、转化能力与开发能力)与产品创新绩效之间的关系进行分析,构建了新的理论分析框架。基于来自228个样本的数据,使用结构方程模型(SEM)对该理论分析框架进行验证。研究发现,吸收能力的四个维度(获取能力、消化能力、转化能力与开发能力)与产品创新绩效之间的关系被知识产权风险所调节。该结论解释了现有研究结论不一致的原因,也为企业提升产品创新绩效、国家建立健全知识产权保护法律体系提供了理论依据。

Abstract: In this paper, intellectual property risk is taken as a moderator, and the relationships between four dimensionalities of absorptive capacity (acquisition, assimilation, transformation and exploitation) and product innovation performance are researched, then a new theoretical analysis framework is constructed. Based on data from 228 observations, this new framework is tested by structural equation modeling. Research results indicate that the relationships between four dimensionalities of absorptive capacity (acquisition, assimilation, transformation and exploitation) and product innovation performance are moderated by intellectual property risk. This conclusion not only explains why existing research results are conflicting, but also provides theory basis for enterprises to improve product innovation performance and for countries to establish and accomplish legal system for intellectual property protection.
